 Abdelkader Hamouchi

Abdelkader Hamouchi was born in Tinjdad - a village in the province of Errachidia- where he attended the elementary and secondary school. After the Baccalaureate he enrolled at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes where he studied English language and literature, option: Linguistics.  His research paper for the fulfilment of BA degree was on "The Syllable Structure in Tamazight Berber". After that he was appointed teacher of English language- service civil- at Tassaout High school in Kella D Sraghna till 1995 when he joind The Teacher training school (ENS) in Rabat . After graduation he was appointed as a teacher of English language in Ouarzazate, at Mohamed VIth high school. He has also been working as a vacancy teacher of " L'analyse filmique d'image et son" at OFPPT (CENTRE DE FORMATION AUX METIERS DU CINEMA). Currently he is a board member of the Cine-Club and the initiator of the Reading Club in Ouarzazate. He is an ex board member of MATE local branch in the same city. He has always had a great passion for reading, creative writing and cinematography. His first novel is titled "Creeds and Weeds", published in 2003, and he is presently working on a new narrative piece titled Tinjdad: Shards of Our Pot"
